Eight years after I was born in Jerusalem - I couldn't
visit in the Jewish street right away - going up the
narrow stairs that leaded to my grandpa's small house, and
to getting one penny for a present.
I couldn't do to the wall and to put a note in it - I
couldn't sit with my parents in the saint Shimon grave.
Only from a distance, from the roof tops I looked at my
good old city and envy, like my dad, who told me:
Envy in the birds who can fly away and pass the wall,
with all of the armed legions - and get to all of the
places who are my childhood and me.
We returned to the city in 67 - to all of the places which
we dream about at night, I took my camera and tried to
look for my childhood, and to perpetuate it in order to
take it with me forever. This is the movie -
