This classical film, made in Poland in 1936, tells
the story of a young girl who has to leave her
home in Poland, and wander on the roads she
finds her living by playing the violin disguised
as a boy calles Yidl. While wandering on the
roads, Yidl and her father meet two other
musicians, and while playing together, Yidl
falls in love with one of them, a fiddler too.
This situation leads to comic scenes in which
molly picon as tiddl proves her acting and
singing talent. The film is fillen with beautiful
Jewish songs, accompanied by the beautiful
and touching sound of the violin.
